Distribution data are provided for some species of Dermestidae from Catalonia (northeastern Iberian Peninsula). Anthrenus (Anthrenus) delicatus Kiesenwetter, 1852, Anthrenus (Florilinus) oberthueri Reitter, 1881, Anthrenus (Helocerus) minutus Erichson, 1846 and Globicornis (Hadrotoma) emarginata (Gyllenhal, 1808) are firstly recorded from Catalonia, and is confirmed the occurrence of Anthrenus (Anthrenus) munroi Hinton, 1943, Paranovelsis incognitus (Háva, 2003) and Trogoderma glabrum (Herbst, 1783). First records at provincial level are also given for other species. Faunistic and biogeographical comments are included for the taxa treated, in the framework of the previous knowledge from Catalonia and the Iberian Peninsula. A preliminary inventory is compiled and the chorological composition is discussed, being the Mediterranean component prevalent among the Catalan fauna of Dermestidae.
