The two most commonly found dermestid beetle species on carcasses in the Meinweg, the Netherlands, (Dermestes undulatus and Dermestes murinus) were collected. In addition to the forementioned Dermestes species, the museum beetle was also found in the Meinweg. However, these were not larvae on carcasses, but adult beetles observed on flowers.
