  • Abstract:
Lardoglyphus zacheri is a species of mite first discovered by Friedrich Zacher in a dermestid beetle culture; a culture of Dermestes lardarius on hides in South America. This paper describes how these mites attach themselves to the body of Dermestes maculatus larvae. The hypopi showed no inclination to attach themselves to adult Dermestes.
