  • Abstract:
Eggs of the black carpet beetle, Attagenus megatoma (F.), and the webbing clothes moth, Tineola bisselliella (Hummel), were exposed on woolen cloth treated with permethrin at rates of 0.01, 0.02, 0.05, and 0.10% by weight of the cloth. All dosage levels tested were lethal to eggs of the clothes moth but had no effect on eggs of the black carpet beetle. However, mortality was 100% at all levels tested for 1st instars of the black carpet beetle.
