    Five fossil beetles of the family Dermestidae from the Dominican amber (Oligocene – Miocene) of the Central America are described and illustrated, i.e. Amberoderma beali gen. nov. et sp. nov., Attagenus ambericus sp. nov., Cryptorhopalum ambericum sp. nov., C. dominicanum sp. nov. and C. jantaricum sp. nov. Cryptorhopalum electron Beal, 1972 previously known from the Mexican amber is newly recorded from the Dominican amber. The check-list of world fossil Dermestidae is included.
