In this article we report Attagenus woodroffei for the first time from the Netherlands. This
synanthropic species, which was described quite recently from Scandinavia, is mainly
known from Northern Europe but most likely originates from the tropics. In Europe it
is only found indoors. In houses, the species can cause damage to woolen fabrics. In
entomological and herbarium collections, it can also cause damage to stored specimens.
