    The 159th meeting of the Netherlands Entomological Society took place from 4-6 June 2004 on the Island of Texel, Province of Noord-Holland. A total of 1117 taxa of fourteen different arthropod orders were recorded. Beetles, with 543 species, were particularly well represented, but, remarkably, none were new for the province.
    Dermestidae found: Dermestes frischii, Dermestes murinus, Dermestes undulatus, Attagenus pellio, Anthrenus fuscus.
