    The 158th meeting of the Netherlands Entomological Society took place from 13-15 June 2003 in the surroundings of Ootmarsum, Overijssel. A total of 1484 taxa of nineteen different arthropod orders was recorded. Beetles, with 744 species, were particularly well represented. The number ofspecies new for the province however was limited. The predatory mites Anthoseius piceae and Typhlodromus bichaetae are here reported for the first time for The Netherlands.
    Dermestidae found: Anthrenus fuscus.
