    Dermestes ssp. were imported from Africa, Asia, North and South America, Australia Polinesia.
    They were mainly imported with animal hides and bonemeal and to a lesser extrent with oilseeds, cacao beans, legumes and other products.
    Trogoderma granarium Everts was imported from Africa, Asia, North and South America.
    They were mainly imported together with gum arabic and to a lesser extent with oilseeds, groundnuts, legumes and other products.
    Attagenus cyphonoides Reitter (= A. alfierii Pic) is frequently found with gum arabic.
    Trogoderma variabile Ballion (= T. parabile Beal) was found in big numbers with an import of safflower seeds from Shanghai in 1982.
