    The World Catalogue of the Dermestidae (Coleoptera) contains a complete list of subfamilies, tribes and subtribes, genera and subgenera, species and subspecies, including new nomenclatural acts, new distributional records, list of type depositions, infrasubspecific names, bibliography and an alphabetical index of genera, subgenera and synonyms. This is the third edition of the „World catalogue of the Dermestidae“ published by the author. The family currently includes 75 valid genera and 1.954 valid species and subspecies described until Juny 30, 2025.
